This easy beef yaki udon recipe is a quick yet satisfying meal that marries tender slices of steak, vibrant broccoli florets, and chewy udon noodles in a savory-sweet symphony of umami.
For beef - 200 grams thinly sliced beef - 1 teaspoon soy sauce - 1 teaspoon sake - 7 grams garlic (grated) - 7 grams ginger (grated) For sauce - 2 tablespoons oyster sauce - 2 tablespoons sake - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper For yaki udon - 1 tablespoon vegetable oil - 100 grams broccoli (cut into small florets) - 400 grams cooked udon noodles
Add the sliced beef, soy sauce, sake, garlic and ginger to a bowl and stir to coat evenly.
Add the oyster sauce, sake, and black pepper to a bowl and stir to combine.
Add the cooked udon noodles and sauce and stir-fry until there is no liquid left in the pan and the sauce has evenly glazed the noodles.
